Keith Enrique Beck
The Next Great American Play (R) is a New Play competition based on a patent pending theatrical process. To get there we use The Last Play Standing work which combines cold reading, script analysis, improvisation and audience participation. The blending of these elements in the Last Play Standing(R) can identify new scripts an audience will enjoy without the trouble of having to read, screen or skim the entire script. Last Play Standing(R) finalists have been produced in Chicago, New Jersey, Boston and nominated for Boston's IRNE award Best New Play 2008. Keith has studied with the National Theater's British American Theater Institute, The Goodman School of Drama and Chicago Dramatists. He has performed in theaters from Atlanta to Santa Fe. His mentors include Gillian Barge, Michael Ockrent, John Normington, Michael Shurtlef, John Green and Jane Brody. He has directed over 500 original scenes representing over 200 new scripts. Keith is the creator of the Last Play Standing(R). And the Next Great American Play. He holds the copyright, trademarks and patent for both
